Daniel Charles Kurtzer
(born in June 1949 in Elizabeth, New Jersey in the United States) served as the United States ambassador to Israel from 2001 to 2005. Immediately prior to his appointment by President George W. Bush, he had served as the Ambassador to Egypt, having been appointed to that post by Bill Clinton. Kurtzer's parents are Nathan and Sylvia Kurtzer. He received his Ph.D. from Columbia University. Prior to his work in the State Department, he served as the dean of his alma mater, Yeshiva College. Kurtzer served as a junior officer at the American Embassy in Cairo at the time of the assassination of Anwar Sadat in 1981. Upon returning to the United States after service in Egypt and then in Israel between 1982 to 1986, Kurtzer became Deputy Director of the State Department's Egypt desk. He later served on the Policy Planning staff, as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, and as Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Intelligence and Research. In 2006, he retired from the State Department and assumed a chair in Middle East policy studies at The Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University[1]. Kurtzer was also recently appointed the commissioner of the newly formed Israel Baseball League.

Lawrence H. Schiffman
is the Ethel and Irvin A. Edelman Professor in Hebrew and Judaic Studies at New York University (NYU). He is a scholar in the field of Dead Sea Scrolls research. His major interests are Dead Sea Scrolls; Jewish religious, political, and social history in late antiquity; the history of Jewish law and Talmudic literature.


 


 
Leon Wildes
the founder and senior partner of Wildes and Weinberg. Holding J.D. and LL.M. degrees from the New York University School of Law, he is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York, where he teaches immigration law. He regularly publishes scholarly articles in the field and lectures widely to both immigration lawyers and lawyers in general practice, and has practiced in the field for forty-five years. A recognized authority in his field, he served as National President of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and has testified before the United States Congress as an expert in immigration matters. Awarded the Edith Lowenstein Memorial Award for Outstanding Contributions to the field of Immigration Law, he is best known for his successful representation of former Beatle John Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono in deportation proceedings spanning a five year period.

Robert Koltai
is the founding member of Hain Capital Group. Mr. Koltai pioneered the trading of rejected leasehold and contract claims in bankruptcy. Since 1992, he has served as a distressed analyst at both sell side and buy side institutions. From 1992-1995, Mr. Koltai served as a Senior Vice President for Oppenheimer & Co., Inc. in the High Yield/Distressed groups where he managed and administered the bankruptcy claims trading group. He hired and trained a staff, systematized a methodology for sourcing product and negotiated the purchase of more than $1 billion in trade claims. Mr. Koltai has contributed to law review articles on bankruptcy claims trading and has worked for the United States Bankruptcy Court in the Central District of California. Mr. Koltai holds a BA in History from the University of California, Berkeley and received his JD from the Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.
