Meor — The University Jewish Experience presents a new and exciting opportunity for students who have never had a Bar/Bat Mitzvah, or for students who have had a Bar/Bat Mitzvah but wish to celebrate it again in a more mature and meaningful way.

The joyous occasion of a Bar/Bat Mitzva is the celebration of the acceptance of the responsibilities of a Jewish adult. In order to properly accept these responsibilities, one needs training and knowledge to understand the depth, beauty, and meaning behind our Jewish traditions. Participants have the option to study in a group setting or one on one. At the end of the semester there will be a big celebration with family and friends, celebrating your tremendous accomplishment.
