Meor, The University Jewish Experience, at New York University, is an affiliate of Meor International, and a partner of the Bronfman Center for Jewish Student Life. Meor creates an inviting atmosphere where students are welcomed and encouraged to enjoy, understand, question and experience their rich Jewish heritage. Meor, together with other Jewish organizations on campus, works to create a community within which students from all backgrounds can relax, enjoy themselves, and have a great time while simultaneously connecting to the wisdom and beauty that is their Jewish birthright.
Meor grants educational fellowships geared toward Jewish leadership and professional development. Students enjoy Shabbat experiences, small group study, one on one mentoring, and are assisted financially and technically in coordinating social action programs. Our trips to Israel, London, California, as well as many local destinations create a lifetime of beautiful memories. Meor, The University Jewish Experience, inspires, educates and empowers a new generation of Jewish leaders.
